In Train No.20911/20912 Vande Bharat Express, manning between INDB-BPL-INDB section
has been given to Ratlam Division. In this connection, as per referred letter No.01, due to its special
features Vande Bharat Express trains will also be treated as Rajdhani type premium train. As such
following policy circulars regarding selection of manning staff, their uniform, etc. are attached herewith
for ready reference & necessary action.
1) Only selected staff as per criteria laid down by Board vide letter dtd. 19.09.2016 & 28.12.2016
circulated vide letter dtd.16.11.2016 & 29.12.2016 should be deployed for manning of this train. No
other staff of divisional squads are allowed to conduct ticket checking drives in the train.
2) Staff so selected; deployed for manning duty should be in prescribed Uniform as per Railway
Board’s guidelines issued vide referred letter No. (iv) dtd.20.12.2017.
3) As per Railway Board’s referred letter No.(vi) dtd. 12.05.2015, TS should announce his name
through PA system in train welcoming passenger and to contact him in case of assistance required by
them.
4)Any other rules & regulations relating to premium trains regarding charging of irregular
passengers on end to end basis ,etc. as and when issued will be applicable to Vande Bharat Exp. train
also.
Kindly ensure strict compliance of the above
